  • Visit our booking site cinematik.app and enter your postcode when prompted. A list of nearest cinemas to you will appear.

  • Escapes screenings usually take place on Monday evenings.

  • Tickets can be booked via our ticketing partner Cinematik.

  • We advise booking tickets ahead of the event. If any seats remain on the day, walk in customers can attend the film. You will have to provide your name and email address to the cinema staff.

  • You can book a ticket for yourself plus an additional ticket for a friend. You will need your friend’s email address to book for them. They will then receive an email inviting them to confirm their ticket.

  • Email support@cinematik.app once you have booked your ticket. Please include the cinema name and details of your request in the email. For example, whether you need wheelchair access.

  • Audio description is a service for blind and partially sighted cinemagoers and cinemagoers with sight loss. A narration track is played through a headset and fills the gaps between dialogue by describing what’s happening on screen. The track is undetectable to anyone not wearing a headset and so doesn’t affect their viewing experience.

    If you need the induction loop or a headset, please ask a member of the cinema staff.

  • These are subtitles specifically intended for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing. They are a transcription rather than a translation, so as well as reproducing dialogue, they aim to describe every additional non-dialogue sound available to a hearing audience watching a film, e.g. “(sighs)” or “(door creaks)” and song lyrics.

  • Please email support@cinematik.app who can process group bookings for up to 10 people.

  • Email support@cinematik.app and your feedback will be directed to the relevant team.
